Iron oxide pigments as catalysts

Bayoxide® is used as iron raw material in the production of high quality catalysts

Iron oxide pigments play an importance role in the production of various catalysts. The quality of the catalysts is highly dependent on the compounding of the precursors. LANXESS pigments fulfill these special and often customer-specific requirements.

In co-operation with its customers, LANXESS develops tailor made iron oxide for the production of catalysts. For example, they are used for the synthesis of the styrene monomer from ethyl benzene.

The Global Competence Center Specialties will gladly answer individual customer inquiries with respect to this field of application or provide further information about LANXESS pigments.
