The responsibility for the entire order and delivery management of the LANXESS pigments business is centrally coordinated by the Supply Chain Management of the Business Unit Inorganic Pigments in Krefeld-Uerdingen.

Together with the responsible persons at all other pigment production sites, it is the overall objective to continuously optimize the order management and delivery processes to ensure a high quality level in terms of reliability of supply.

Reliability of supply for LANXESS means not only a guaranteed smooth flow of material and information as well as an on time delivery of the proper product quantity and required quality, but also the best possible delivery capability at affordable costs.

In addition LANXESS also cares about further logistics-related questions, such as:

  • Facilities and machines for the emptying, conveyance and metering of pigments
  • Process automation with respect to transportation systems, bar coding systems, signaling and metrology
  • Packaging tailored to customer requirements regarding packaging materials, complete emptying, disposal and recycling
  • Contacts at your local branch office will gladly answer all logistical questions including support for individual customer inquiries.
