Information about orders, order management and queries

Order entry and order tracking

Please contact your local branch office, which will enter your orders (fax, post, e-mail) into our order management system. Your contact will always have up-to-date information about the status of your order.

You can also use a variety of e-Business tools to place orders and have information sent to you by e-mail.

Minimum order quantity

The minimum order quantity is three pallets.

Full loads

If a shipment comprises a number of different articles, no more than five articles can be consolidated to form a full load.

Shipment

Shipments are made Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. To ensure short dispatch times, the carriers use CargoTimer to schedule the available loading slots.

Complaint management

If you should have grounds for complaint, please notify your contact at the local branch office. Your query will be entered in a complaint management system so that it can be processed and resolved as quickly as possible. LANXESS places great value on using this system to derive corrective measures.

Sample ordering


To order samples, contact your local branch office, which will send the requested sample to you in two to three days. Samples in Europe will be handled by our Sample Service Center. These samples, or color standards, are packaged in units up to 500 g. Larger samples (up to 25 kg) are material taken from current production.
 
Small quantities

Small quantities (less than one pallet/ton) are handled by our global distribution network. Additional information is available from your contacts in the local branch offices.
